2014: MOHTC Authorizations at Capacity; Threat of cutting in 2015 looms heavy

This is Vital – Your words Needed!

Summer 2014 —   We are organizing ahead of the session this year in response to the news that we are effectively hitting the existing cap for authorizations as well as news that grand bargain tax reform including severe cuts to the MOHTC program is being discussed by elected officials. This reduction will cut available credits drastically from where they are today – $140M to $90M – This will make the road to revitalization much more difficult for 1000s of opportunity properties across the state, taking away the best incentive for commercial district redevelopment. Call & Email your legislators and urge them to leave historic tax credits alone. Share your success stories and spread this message through your world! #savemohtc
